Where It All Began
We’re sisters, and we’ve always shared a love for candy. Growing up, we had a candy jar in the kitchen, and every night after dinner, we got to pick a sweet treat. Chocolate, gummies, lollipops. It didn’t matter what it was, as long as it made us smile. Those small moments of joy became a ritual we still remember and the inspiration behind Hullabaloo.
Hullabaloo is built on a simple idea: what makes us happy should make us feel good too.
Candy has always meant happiness for us, but life taught us to think differently about what we put into our bodies. After losing our mom to cancer, we started imagining a different kind of candy. One that sparks joy and supports your body. Working in dental offices, we also saw firsthand how much people love sweets, and how sugar can work against their health. That’s what inspired us to create candy that loves you back.
As Asian Americans, we grew up surrounded by a mix of cultures, traditions, and flavors that taught us how food can connect, comfort, and bring people together. Hullabaloo carries that spirit forward—creating candy that nourishes joy, celebrates connection, and is made to be shared with everyone.
